PROGRAM FEE INCREASE

In accordance with the FY 2008 approved budget, a 5 % increase in registration fees will be assessed to all Sports and Athletics Section programs effective July 1.  The new fee structure is necessary to help offset increases in administrative and operational expenses. We thank you for your support and understanding and hope you continue enjoying the numerous activities that are offered throughout the year.

The Sports and Athletics Section of the New Castle County Department of Community Services invites you to join the more than 740 teams and over 12,000 individuals who participate annually in our programs. A variety of competitive leagues are offered to high school students and adults, and instructional leagues and camps are offered to younger athletes. A combination of informal (drop-in) programs and instructional classes are available to seniors (50 + years). Special activities (road races, golf tournaments, softball tournaments, etc.) are also scheduled throughout the year.
